We are looking for someone to join our media team
We love finding new broadcasting talent, whether someone
has lots, a little or no experience in commentary or radio presenting,
if we think You’re good enough, then we’ll hire you!. We’re proud to
have given so many people their first experience broadcasting and
motorsport commentary since 2016 and we’re even more proud that most of
those people have since gone on to work professionally in motorsport for
world championships.
You don’t need to know everything about cars or bikes
and you don’t need to sound like current TV commentators, we’re looking
for enthusiastic people with the right attitude to work as part of our
media team on various projects.
This role is Ideal for people with a passion for
motorcycle racing looking to make their first step into broadcasting or
college/university aged people who think they have what it takes to
become a commentator.
Main Duties include but are not limited to:
• Being reliable and turning up on time
• Assisting the team to rig and set up studio equipment & other
equipment inside and outdoors before and at the end of the weekend.
• Having a professional attitude at all times when on site
• Recording on-site interviews or other video content, either behind or in front of camera as and when instructed.
• Participate in pre or post event previews or review recordings
• Prepare for the event or fixture by researching results & competitors
• Work with the production team to plan the broadcast
• Take direction from an on-site producer at the event
• Work well with the on-site production team
• Race commentary
REQUIREMENTS
To be considered, live in the UK and send examples of
related things you have done in the past or to self-record an example of
you commentating
There’s no age limit, if you know You’ve got what it
takes then get in touch! Experience not essential as full training is
given, enthusiasm, reliability and a can-do attitude is.
