Job Description

Work model: hybrid, with on-site work at General Motors three days per week, from Tuesday through Thursday, in São Caetano do Sul.


About the role:


This position supports the development and delivery of strategic brand experience initiatives for Chevrolet and its vehicle portfolio across South America. Reporting to the Brand Engagement Manager, the role connects brand direction, consumer insight, market needs, and business priorities to create relevant experiences across GMSA. The specialist coordinates regional experience workstreams and brings Chevrolet brands and brand assets to life through events, activations, motorsports, technologies, innovations, licensing, facilities, and other relevant platforms.



Responsibilities:


• Coordinate the development and implementation of regional strategic brand experience initiatives for Chevrolet across South America.

• Translate approved brand direction and engagement priorities into experience concepts, platforms, event plans, activations, and execution requirements.

• Develop experience briefs, creative briefs, project scopes, timelines, deliverables, and evaluation criteria for regional initiatives.

• Coordinate strategic brand experience events and activations, including motorsports, product and technology showcases, innovations, licensing initiatives, facilities, and other brand asset platforms.

• Work with markets, agencies, suppliers, and cross-functional teams to ensure regional experiences are relevant, integrated, and executable in each market.

• Support the connection of experiences with social channels, content, influence marketing, media, retail, product, and other consumer touchpoints.

• Ensure that experience concepts and executions are consistent with approved brand strategy, visual identity, brand standards, and applicable global and regional guidelines.

• Manage assigned experience workstreams, tracking milestones, dependencies, risks, deliverables, and decision points to support timely execution.

• Support supplier and agency briefings, proposals, production processes, and quality reviews in coordination with the responsible teams.

• Collect and analyze consumer, market, event, and performance insights; recommend improvements for future experiences and activations.

• Prepare concise status updates, recommendations, post-event evaluations, and executive materials for relevant stakeholders.

• Contribute to the continuous improvement of regional experience capabilities, tools, processes, and best practices.


Requirements:

• Bachelor's degree in Marketing, Advertising, Communications, Business Administration, Events, or a related field.

• Solid experience in brand experience, experiential marketing, events, activations, sponsorships, communications, advertising, or related areas.

• Experience coordinating regional or multicountry projects with agencies, suppliers, markets, and cross-functional teams.

• Knowledge of experience design, event production, consumer engagement, brand platforms, content, social channels, and integrated marketing.

• Strong project management, organization, briefing, presentation, negotiation, and stakeholder coordination skills.

• Advanced or fluent English is required; fluent Portuguese and Spanish are desirable for regional work in South America.

• Willingness to travel regionally and support events and activations as required.

• Strategic thinking, consumer orientation, creativity, attention to detail, accountability, collaboration, and results orientation.


Preferred Qualifications:

• Postgraduate degree in Marketing, Communications, Events, Business, or a related field.

• Experience in the automotive industry, consumer goods, sports, entertainment, technology, or other consumer-focused industries.

• Experience with motorsports, sponsorships, licensing, technology showcases, innovations, facilities, or large-scale brand activations.

• Familiarity with project management tools, experience measurement, supplier management, and production processes.


Profile:

• Senior individual contributor with the ability to lead projects and influence stakeholders without direct people leadership.

• Ability to connect strategic direction with practical, high-quality execution across different markets and consumer contexts.

• Comfortable working in a matrixed, multicultural environment with multiple priorities and stakeholders.

• Clear communication, sound judgment, ownership, adaptability, and strong attention to detail.
