As the Director of Social Strategy, you will shape the voice, vision and strategy of our social media platforms. You will lead a creative team to produce captivating content that connects fans and amplifies the brand, while driving commercial impact.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Lead the strategy, creation, and execution of all social content across platforms including Instagram, TikTok, X (Twitter), YouTube and emerging channels
  • Build and manage a high-performing team of social content creators, editors, designers and strategists. And collaborate with our internal Partnerships Team and Community Managers
  • Develop innovative campaigns that grow global fan engagement and deepen loyalty
  • Collaborate closely with marketing, PR and commercial teams to ensure social content aligns with broader brand and business objectives
  • Use analytics and insights to measure content performance, optimize strategies and demonstrate ROI
  • Keep ahead of trends in social media, storytelling, video and emerging platforms to maintain a competitive edge
  • Ensure brand consistency, tone of voice and creative excellence across all social channels

What do you need to bring to the team?

 

  • Proven leadership experience in social media or content strategy at a senior level, preferably in sports, entertainment or high-profile brands
  • Exceptional creativity, storytelling skills and an eye for visual content

·         Proven track record of creating sponsorable franchises and driving revenue via social channels

  • Strong understanding of social media trends, algorithms and content performance metrics
  • Passion for motorsport and understanding of Formula 1® culture is highly desirable
  • Experience leading campaigns that drive both engagement and commercial outcomes
  • Ability to thrive in a fast-paced, high-pressure environment and deliver high-quality content under tight deadlines
