Job Description

Are you ready to accelerate your career with a dynamic and innovative F1 team? We are looking to expand our well‑established organisation with a Junior Buyer who is motivated to contribute significantly to our relentless pursuit of excellence. Based at Enstone, this role will play a crucial part in supporting our F1 operations and ensuring we have the right goods and services at the right time to push for podiums and race wins.

Junior Buyer – The Role

As our Junior Buyer – Direct, you will play a vital role in the procurement of goods and services that directly support car performance, factory operations, and race‑team activities. Working within our Purchasing team, you will help maintain strong supplier relationships, support sourcing activity, and ensure seamless operational delivery in a fast‑paced, high‑stakes environment.

You will thrive in a role where attention to detail, proactive communication, and the ability to work under pressure are key to supporting our competitive edge.

Key responsibilities include:

  • Procuring goods and services in accordance with Alpine Racing Purchasing Rules.
  • Maintaining strong relationships with suppliers and communicating key updates to the Procurement Manager.
  • Supporting value creation, performance improvement and operational efficiency in line with KPIs and SLAs.
  • Assisting in the development and implementation of procurement policies, procedures, and best practices.
  • Supporting the sourcing process, including issuing RFQs, raising purchase orders, issuing free‑issue components, and resolving invoice queries.
  • Progress‑chasing open purchase orders, ensuring timely delivery and accurate receipt of goods.
  • Managing purchase orders for external processing requirements where needed.
  • Performing additional ad‑hoc duties as required by the Procurement Manager.

Junior Buyer – The Person

We are seeking someone with a keen interest in procurement within a high‑performance technology environment, ideally with experience in purchasing goods and services that support technical operations.

You will bring:

  • ERP system experience (Microsoft AX preferred but not essential).
  • Strong communication skills—clear, concise, confident.
  • Good numeracy skills and proficiency in MS Office applications.
  • An understanding of how Purchasing contributes to wider company goals.
  • The ability to collaborate effectively with stakeholders across the business.
  • A resilient, proactive, can‑do attitude, with the ability to remain calm and effective under pressure.
  • A strong sense of ownership and determination to deliver.
  • Flexibility and adaptability to shifting operational demands.

Above all, you will bring energy, commitment, and a desire to be part of a fast‑moving, high‑achieving F1 team.

What we offer you in return:

At Alpine F1 Team, you will work alongside top professionals, directly contributing to operations that impact race‑car performance on a global stage. You will benefit from state‑of‑the‑art facilities, competitive remuneration packages, private medical healthcare, a free on‑site gym and restaurant, and a range of additional benefits.

We offer outstanding career development opportunities within a collaborative, inclusive, and high‑performance environment where innovation is at the heart of everything we do.

We celebrate diversity and strive to create an environment where everyone can be their authentic selves. We welcome individuals from all backgrounds, ethnicities, cultures, and experiences, and we are committed to leading by example in promoting inclusion and belonging across our organisation and the wider community.
