We’re excited to be searching for a Procurement Scheduler. The Procurement Scheduler will ensure all Purchase Order / Works Orders are scheduled and maintained to meet the business deliverable requirements and ensure efficient and effective use of resources. The role will work closely with the Procurement Team and internal stakeholders to maintain the daily plan and provide the first point of escalation for any issues or delays to plan execution.

Role Responsibilities

• Daily expediting of suppliers to ensure strict adherence to agreed delivery dates. Responsibilities include proactively contacting suppliers, monitoring order status, and resolving potential delays before they impact production schedules.
• Ensure the RBPT business system is maintained with relevant and live planned operation schedules to meet overall business plan delivery – operation start times to be maintained as current, load graphs to be levelled to ensure accurate due dates and resource loading.
• Maintenance of supplier commitments, escalating issues when necessary, and collaborating with internal teams to safeguard supply chain continuity.
• Responsibility for Placing Indirect Purchase Orders as required to support the Procurement Team, and to release picks and chase shortages as required to ensure throughput of work through allocated process areas can be maintained.

Requirements for the role

• Similar experience within a fast-paced Procurement team with knowledge of the end-to-end procurement processes and schedules, as well as supply chain management principles.
• Strong organisational and time management skills, with the ability to prioritize tasks effectively.
• Creative and proactive approach to problem-solving and process improvement.
• Strong sense of responsibility, team spirit, and a high level of reliability.
