About the Role
As a Production Support Technician, you’ll ensure our machining teams have everything they need to operate efficiently and accurately. You’ll be responsible for the preparation, maintenance, and delivery of tooling, fixturing, and raw materials—ensuring everything meets technical specifications and is available on time. You’ll play a crucial role in keeping the workflow moving smoothly and supporting on‑time delivery across the department.

Key Responsibilities
Prepare, set up, and maintain all machine tooling, fixtures, and materials ready for production.
Cut, prepare, and supply raw materials, ensuring full traceability and compliance.
Build and deliver complete job kits to machinists in the correct sequence and timescale.
Process workload and release jobs to the next operation efficiently and accurately.
Check all tooling and materials meet required specifications, route operations, and technical standards.
Liaise closely with Team Leaders, programmers, machinists, and suppliers to ensure tooling needs are met on time.
Maintain high tool‑setting standards and a strong focus on quality and cost‑effective solutions.
Contribute to a supportive, collaborative team environment, working towards shared goals.
Adhere to health, safety, environmental, and housekeeping standards at all times.
What You’ll Bring
Technical Skills:
Strong engineering background with the ability to read engineering drawings, models, and GD&T.
Good understanding of machining processes, workflows, and common tooling challenges.
Excellent attention to detail, especially when validating tooling or materials.
Confident using departmental systems including Microsoft Dynamics 365 and MS Office
Personal Attributes:
A proactive, organised, and adaptable approach to work.
Strong communication skills with the ability to collaborate across teams.
A positive, solution‑focused mindset with a “can‑do” attitude.
Ability to work well under pressure and manage deadlines.
