E-commerce Executive

The Mercedes Formula One Team is seeking an E-commerce Executive role to join their team and drive Ecommerce revenue, retention and customer satisfaction through a seamless brand journey and optimal shopping experience.

The Role:

You will own the full product enrichment process and setup of all items on our Ecommerce store, from product imagery to categorisation. Work with our Shopify agency to ensure the latest updates, releases and enhancements are optimised to improve conversion and the customer journey. Work cross functionally with key stakeholders to support campaign planning and execution, taking great pride in the presentation and representation of the Ecommerce store. You will work closely with the Ecommerce team and external agencies to deliver a best-in-class Ecommerce experience and maximise revenues. Support and coordinate key product and collection launches, ensuring all key stakeholders are aligned to launch times and requirements.

Responsibilities:

  • Update and maintain the eCommerce site fully

  • Responsible for product enrichment and key collection launches, working closely with adidas & others

  • Liaise and own key relationships with agencies/web developers for technical releases

  • Strategise on ways to elevate the site (Traffic, conversion and acquisition)

  • Work with the demand planner to see what products need to be pushed

  • Work with communications/brand team to plan shoots at the track and social posts

  • Work with CRM to create a joint feel between site & email comms

  • Lead asset management

  • Determine what shoots we need, manage & organise shoots

  • Analyse weekly/monthly sales and analytics reports

  • Set weekly Commercial Priorities for all digital channels (based on stock levels)

  • Working closely with marketing teams to maximise traffic driving opportunities

  • Execution of product launches and campaigns in line with overall marketing plan and work collaboratively to improve processes and communication across wider teams

  • User Experience on site: provide actions on problem journeys and how to optimise current customer behaviour (Microsoft clarity etc)

  • Supporting senior ecommerce manager in delivering new and innovative strategies through project work

About You:

You will have:

  • Ecommerce experience (including placements) within a brand or retailer.

  • Experience of Shopify and/or an equivalent CMS with confidence interpreting and inputting data to build products, campaigns, and new innovative solutions.

  • A thirst for looking at data and insights to perform critical fixes, optimisations, and enhancements to improve the UX/UI.

  • Strategic mindset and comfortable being in the details while also being able to think outside the box to move the business forward.

  • Planning and organisation - manages multiple tasks and stakeholders ensuring deadlines are met

  • Strong agility, taking responsibility/making decisions in uncertain environments

  • Adaptable and able to initiate change and evolution in all aspects of the workplace
